This policy explains what cookies are, which types of cookies and similar technologies we use on the website www.clinicaccelerator.sk (hereinafter the “Website”), for what purpose we use them, and how you can manage your consent and settings.

2. What cookies are
Cookies are small text files that are stored on your end device (computer, tablet, mobile phone) via your web browser when you visit the Website. They make it possible to recognise your device on a return visit, remember your settings, evaluate website traffic, or display relevant advertising.

In accordance with Section 109(8) of Act No. 452/2021 Coll. on Electronic Communications and with the GDPR, the following applies:
- Necessary (technical) cookies are used without your consent, as they are required for the proper functioning of the Website. The legal basis is our legitimate interest pursuant to Article 6(1)(f) GDPR, or the exemption itself under Section 109(8) of the Act on Electronic Communications.
- All other cookies (analytics/statistical and marketing) are used solely on the basis of your demonstrable consent. The legal basis is consent pursuant to Article 6(1)(a) GDPR.
On your first visit to the Website, a cookie banner is displayed, through which you can grant or refuse consent. Until consent is granted, no cookies other than necessary ones are stored. Consent is voluntary, specific, informed and unambiguous, and you can grant, refuse or, at any later time, withdraw or change it just as easily.
4. Categories of cookies we use
4.1 Necessary (technical) cookies
They ensure the basic functions and security of the Website, for example storing your decision about cookies. Without these cookies the website cannot function properly. They do not require consent.
4.2 Analytics / statistical cookies
They help us understand how visitors use the Website (e.g. which pages they visit, where they come from, how long they stay) so that we can improve it. We use them only with your consent.
4.3 Marketing cookies
They are used to measure the effectiveness of advertising, display relevant and targeted advertising, and for remarketing on advertising platforms (Google, Meta). They may include profiling for advertising purposes. We use them only with your consent.

5.3 Marketing cookies – Google Ads
We use the Google Ads tool (provider Google Ireland Limited / Google LLC) for conversion measurement and remarketing.

5.4 Marketing cookies – Meta Pixel (Facebook Pixel)
The Meta Pixel tool is provided by Meta Platforms Ireland Limited (Merrion Road, Dublin 4, Ireland). It is used for conversion measurement, ad optimisation and remarketing on the Facebook and Instagram platforms. In this processing we act together with Meta as joint controllers pursuant to Article 26 GDPR.

5.5 Google Tag Manager
Google Tag Manager (provider Google Ireland Limited / Google LLC) is a tool for managing and deploying measurement and marketing tags. Google Tag Manager itself generally does not store any of its own cookies on your device; however, it triggers the other tools and tags listed above, in accordance with your consent settings.
6. Transfer of data to third countries
The providers of the tools listed (Google and Meta) may process data also outside the European Economic Area, in particular in the United States of America. This transfer is safeguarded by appropriate safeguards under Chapter V GDPR, primarily through the EU–US Data Privacy Framework, under which both Google and Meta are certified, and/or through standard contractual clauses adopted by the European Commission.
7. How to manage or withdraw consent
You can change or withdraw your consent to the use of cookies at any time:
- Through the cookie banner– by clicking the “Cookie settings” link (or a similar link) available on the Website, where you can enable or disable individual categories of cookies.
